I recently received a framed sampling of Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia) currency from my son as a birthday present. Zimbabwe has been through a number of years of high inflation and hyperinflation, and through three devaluations, where excess zeros repeatedly were lopped off notes as high as 100 trillion Zimbabwe dollars. My son noted that a stack of current two dollar bills equal in value to a single Zimbabwe two-dollar bill of 1978 would stretch from the Earth to the Andromeda Galaxy.
